It was a wonderful experience. I learned so much about myself and gained the confidence I needed to lose the weight and keep it off. My coach was patient and knowledgable. She would send me articles to read, videos to encourage me, and remind me of ‘my why’ when I would lose my way. I had lots of questions and she answered every one. She always had great advice and pushed me forward when I felt defeated- which was often. It’s a great feeling to have someone in your corner cheering you on! I. I cannot recommend coaching enough. I should point out-I was 69 years old and on a diet of one kind or another my entire adult life. I had lost 40 pounds very slowly over a period of 6 years but couldn’t get that last 5 pound off, no matter what I did. My coach helped me to lose that last 5 pounds plus 10 pounds more and ditch the diet mentality. She made me feel comfortable in maintenance and gave me the confidence to make the choices.
