I am from lowell /Tewksbury and shopped at market basket for ages. Now I go first to trader joe's and wholefoods. Quality has gone down at market basket. Less organic meats and produce Quality poor. Lots of vendors gone market basket using MB vendor name. No more shady brook. No more organic chicken. Applesauce double the price at market basket compared to trader joes and almond butter and eggs etc etc. Sutton drinks 3.99 at mb 2.49 trader joes. Just compare shop people. Market basket is no longer my go to store. I dont know what the story is w old ceo and change happening. I just know they are now price gouging for money vs the old family who kept prices reasonable and quality high. Big disappointment. Now Market Basket is just one of the bunch. High prices and low quantity
