I can't believe the terrible service from M & S at the Meadows in Camberley today. I really thought that they were turning things around but oh my! Condescending, jobsworth manager not prepared to exchange a pair of £20 unworn swimming trunks bought yesterday because I had already thrown the receipt and the label by the time I realised they were not pyjama shorts!
Not asking for a refund, just a straight swap. I Showed my Amex payment for yesterday but no! She would rather lose a customer for good than use a little managers' discretion. As it turned out the pyjama trousers marked at £25, were on offer and only cost £4.99 and I was happy just to swap them over. I didn't want a refund.
So for £4.99 they have lost a customer of many, many years. Well done Marks and Spencer, The Meadows, Camberley! One star is one too many!
