I have always been a great fan of M&S but they are now catering for the young - or trying to. One only has to look around any section of clothing to see the average age of the customers, and they are not young. Young people do not buy clothing from M&S. Their mums always have but now anyone older is out of luck as the designs are horrendous. I always bought jeans and summer trousers but all I can find now are slim fit, narrow hems and jeggings. Nothing to suit anyone older. I've never bought my nightdresses from anywhere else but I can't get one now in the style I want with shoestring straps in nylon satin in a midi length. There aren't any in the stores but I've just found one online. One!! Nightwear for younger people is in abundance but M&S, wake up, your core customer is an older woman who still wants to be modern and stylish but with your styles now nobody can look stylish. You have too many young people deciding what styles people want instead of people who are a similar age to your customers. The stores are dying because we can't go to one and find what we want and we don't all want to have to order online. We want to see the item first.
