Same as the others really. Cold caller at the door offering a “free trial” of “local” milk & if we liked the service, we could continue. Before I’d even had chance to either try the milk or look up prices online, I was constantly telephoned around 3 times before midday asking for my DD details to set up an account. I told the rude lady (when I could get a word in!) that I didn’t want to go ahead with their service, to which she replied I would have to call a number to cancel. I explained there wasn’t anything to cancel, as I hadn’t got, or intended to have an account with them. Total pressure sales company that guilt trip you into setting up a direct debit for local milk which is from 100’s of miles away. I feel sorry for the elderly / vulnerable who will roll over for this type of scam. No doubt I’ll get the automated reply that says ‘we don’t offer free trials’ - to which I’ll reply that their door to door sales people DO say it’s a free trial and that the first delivery is free. Maybe train your salespeople if that’s the case.
