Absolutely shocking customer service. Millets sent me my item but it wasn’t the colour that I ordered, I contacted them to let them know and also to try and arrange an exchange. I was advised that they did not do exchanges and I should sent the item back to receive a refund. I spent around 4-5 days emailing back and forth to try and resolve the issue, it wasn’t my fault that their warehouse had sent the incorrect item and so I couldn’t understand why they weren’t able to offer an exchange on this occasion. Alongside emailing, I contacted them on Twitter but again nobody wanted to resolve the issue. I ended up having to call their customer helpline and was basically told that they wouldn’t exchange the item for me and that I needed to send it back if I wanted a refund. Also, if I was still interested in the item that I should order it again. The customer service agent called me by the wrong name on 6 occasions, it was funny the first time and I was able to laugh about it but it was actually very rude after that. He wasn’t listening to me, helping me or resolving my issue. I was sent an address label to return my item.
I returned my item and left it over a week without hearing anything, upon checking my tracking information I discovered the parcel was delivered 2 days after it was posted. I contacted millets on Twitter to try and find out if I was going to get an exchange as requested or if they were refunding. (I had been told on several occasions they did not do exchanges but was advised on the phone that the warehouse may exchange it for me if they put a note on my account) They asked me to verify where I had sent the parcel as it had been returned to JD sports, I told them it was posted back with the address label they supplied. This was the last straw and I phoned to speak to somebody, I was on the phone for 20 minutes and got a refund. I will never shop with millets again.
