“Ordered something online. Was inadequately packed (just put in a plastic bag and posted) and damaged in the post to me. Hardly surprising. I provided photographic evidence of the damage to their so-called "customer care" dept. Millets refuse to send a replacement and insist I return the item for a refund (which I have no doubt they will drag out for as long as possible) and place a new order. Their "service" is laughable.”

“Ordered X2 chairs, received only X1 in a partially opened box, which was all battered and not sealed properly. The packaging inside was just a piece of brown paper scrumpled which didn't even protect anything. We complained about this to be told we would be refunded for the chair and delivery charge. In the emails they asked for our order no. I sent a picture of the confirmation/delivery note with the details to then be told that number doesn't exist 3 times and 3 times I was called the wrong name. We were told we would receive refund for chair first then the delivery charge separately. It took 2 days for a partial refund for the chair so had to chase the rest of the refund which took another 3 days, then in between we received our refund for the delivery charge. There an absolute joke of a company. They haven't a clue what there doing. They obviously can't count or read. Their customer service is one of the worst I've ever come across. Will never use them again. If there was any way we could have rated 0 stars we would have done”

“Ordered a tent. Paid. Order confirmation received and basically that was the end of the communication! Absolutely horrendous to deal with. No tent was sent out for delivery and a long story short PayPal sorted a refund else I would have not received it”

“Bought a Sendero six tent as it was supposed to have a division between the six sleeping positions. This was confirmed by a staff member before I bought it. After pitching the tent there was no division. Complained to the shop who didn’t want to know. Phoned Customer Care and waited 55 minutes for someone to answer which they didn’t. Now I’m stuck with a not fit for purpose tent and Millets don’t care. Will never go there again.”

“I never got my online order (shipped next-day delivery to a B&B). The delivery service was Evri and they emailed me saying they tried to deliver during the business day but were unable (why? It's a business that was open and expecting the package). Millets customer service said they would ensure the items were delivered, but it never happened.”

“SCAM ALERT::::. IF you have been scammed by one of your brokers, report them now with your evidence to AIXALTD.COM I felt empowered to take action against my investment broker. Armed with the necessary knowledge and resources, I filed a complaint with the relevant regulatory authorities and presented my case with confidence. AIXALTD.COM support went beyond informational assistance; they also put me in touch with a lawyer who specialized in handling cases of investment fraud. To my greatest surprise, all my money was immediately recovered... AIXALTD.COM”

“The wrong size of jacket was sent and I needed a return label where I would not be charged….. that took me a few days trying to get a response from somebody. I was asked to send a photo if the jacket and label which I did but had no response. I tried so many times on he phone number where you are unable to talk to anybody and I sent another request for assistance but no response I finally tried to contact the head office but unable to phone them, contacted a store close to the HO but they told me they were not allowed to give out the number so I asked if they would kindly contact the HO with my details and asked if they would call me. The store manger seemed to be sympathetic and said she would do get best and would call be later that day or the next but sadly this did not happen. Absolutely shocking service from Millets (online) I will never use them again and will not recommend to any of my friends and family m. Poor show 🙁”

“Shocking (lack of) customer service and now they have disabled their customerservice email so it is near impossible to contact them. I placed an order and paid for next day deliver. It arrived too late and after I had ordered from another outlet. I returned the packet unopened and got confirmation from the delivery company that Millets had received my return. After that I had no contact from Millets. After repeated attempts and using their (useless) online tool I was finally able to get through only to get a reply saying they did not know why my return had not been processed and hoped to process it soon. No apology, no attempt to compensate in any way and, most concerning, no explanation as to why a refund had not been processed / the customer had to chase for a refund in circumstances where it should be automatic. I have been a long time customer but will no longer be shopping at Millets. I would rather buy from a retialer which has a way of being contacted as opposed to 'no reply' addresses.”

“Inflexible & no empathy! Order ref 359790604. Only received part of my order ( 1 map out of 3). Only found out when PayPal notified me of refund. No email from Millets telling me. However, proposed refund did not cover the full amount of the 2 maps and despite 2 phone calls with both warehouse staff and customer services I was told that they could not deviate from their refund policy despite agreeing that I was financially left out of pocket. Clearly given that it was a small order around £20 in total, it would have made no sense to order just 1 map and pay the £3.95 delivery fee. The website indicated the maps were available but the warehouse chap told me there is a delay updating their in house systems. I asked why the customer should lose out financially when the fault lies with their systems? Surely to maintain customer relations and reputation it would be in their best interests to refund the the full cost of the 2 maps and cover the cost of delivery as I would not have ordered a single map and my loss is totally due to their poor in house communications. I’m sure my situation will be duplicated by other unsuspecting online customers and also loosing out financially through no fault of their own. Given the current economic climate I would have thought that companies would value and look to keep hold of loyal customers but this inflexible approach and lack of empathy does not back this up. Overall, a truly terrible and frustrating experience all round and one which will make me very reluctant to purchase online again from this company. If you do truly wish to improve your customer experience then I do hope yo7 start to take on board these sorts of issues.”

“Have returned an aqua coat which millets described as not returnable, until I wrote a review. I returned it special delivery for proof. Despite this I still don't have refund. Contacted by email, as can't find phone number. No answer to email 2 weeks later. No refund and now the have my item to resell 🤔🤔😢 thus has been ongoing since Oct. Such bad customer service”
