AVOID AT ALL COSTS: selling a shared ownership property. I chose them as their website said ‘meet a surveyor on site’ - they just sent someone to take photos. I complained and they did send a surveyor but I was told ‘they will not discuss the valuation with you’ sorry - I thought I was paying for this service and this was incredibly rude. I needed an extension to the valuation - they did not do extensions. I had an offer higher than the valuation and when I told them this - they valued the property at this (meaning I would lose out on the difference) - I was told they ‘have a duty to the housing association’ sorry, I though I was paying for this service. Or did they not value it properly the first time ……. In the end I got a local company to value it who also provided extensions at about £60 Shared ownership sales can take ages to go through you WILL NEED an extension. I have waited for my sale to go through before writing this review as I do NOT trust Mirus Surveyors. Save yourself the hassle and costs (basically paying for three valuations) DO NOT USE
