“AVOID AT ALL COSTS: selling a shared ownership property. I chose them as their website said ‘meet a surveyor on site’ - they just sent someone to take photos. I complained and they did send a surveyor but I was told ‘they will not discuss the valuation with you’ sorry - I thought I was paying for this service and this was incredibly rude. I needed an extension to the valuation - they did not do extensions. I had an offer higher than the valuation and when I told them this - they valued the property at this (meaning I would lose out on the difference) - I was told they ‘have a duty to the housing association’ sorry, I though I was paying for this service. Or did they not value it properly the first time ……. In the end I got a local company to value it who also provided extensions at about £60 Shared ownership sales can take ages to go through you WILL NEED an extension. I have waited for my sale to go through before writing this review as I do NOT trust Mirus Surveyors. Save yourself the hassle and costs (basically paying for three valuations) DO NOT USE”

“Mirus surveyors were easy to deal with and very responsive when email for my survey They organised the appointment time as had no contact with my ex-wife Had to renew survey as the 3 month expired and was carried out again to the hight standard would use again if required”

“I've used Mirus to carry out valuations of my property in Southampton, most recently in March 2025 when they prepared a report for me within 24 hours. Martin was really knowledgeable and understanding when carrying out my site visit and for everything admin-related Mia is an absolute star. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Mirus to anyone in need of an RICS survey.”

“Very impressed with Mirus Surveyors and particularly Mia who has been brilliant from start to finish. I’ve been regularly updated or responded to 7 days a week which is unheard of in property buying and selling. Surveyor Andrew was also pleasant on his visit to my property.
