USER BEWARE- I'm currently undergoing a process with financial ombudsman over a missing paycheck that Monzo have somehow 'lost'. That's right folks. Your hard earned money can simply be 'lost' by your bank. And not only that, the customer service response. Is cyclical email auto response and different team members never actually answering your questions. Iv been asked to have a call with them four times now which they never do and they send you back to circles of online bots.
What does this teach us? Online banks are cowboys guys pure and simple. If this was a traditional bank I would not deal with this level of ineptitude if not cirminality (let's wait for ombudsman response). I would say please NEVER get your paycheck directly onto a Monzo account. Cuz if you are relying on your pay for say I dunno, rent, then Monzo could quite easily cost you your home.
