I’ve had Monzo for a long time. It markets itself as a current, relatable bank that is on the side on its customers. It is not. For the past two months I have been trying to get Monzo to uphold a dispute for a charge on my account where it was 100% clear that the supplier did not send the goods that I was charged for. I presented them with evidence, emails, and links to other people that had been scammed and their only response was: we can’t uphold it. When pushed for a reason they said the supplier didn’t accept the dispute. That’s it - no investigation or acknowledgment of the emails and proof I sent them ( they even went as far to say that I didn’t show proof when I literally had). It goes on. Customer service are useless - they send a lot of emojis but very little substance. If this had been any other bank this wouldn’t have happened. Stay away from Monzo if you want to be protected.
