Morrisons loyalty card scheme is the worst that i have ever experienced in the history of loyalty scheme that operates across stores and supermarket in the UK. I usually shop at Stratford branch, i was offered a temporary card to acquire points until i register for a permanent card. At the point of registration, the points on the temporary card was suppose to be transferred to the permanent card as stated by Morrisons but alas; that never happened.
I went for shopping at stratford branch; bought stuffs worth about £80; swiped my card to accumulate point; only for a message to come up on the screen that my card is invalid. i was directed to speak to customer service advisor who now told me that if i dont use it for 2 months, it will go invalid and that i have to apply for another one. Well, they've just lost another customer because a'int going back there. I have other stores loyalty card that i sometimes use maybe; 5 times a year and it never went invalid. Who ever is in charge of customer experience should look into this as it is not the best way to operate the loyalty scheme. if morrisson's are not capable of operating the service, then they should wait until they are bouyant enough to reward customers
