I have brought many cars in the past from people i know and strangers for not a lot of money without hpi cheaks but went to buy a van yesterday from a complete stranger it was up for sale for 7k was ready to hand the cash to the bloke and thought ill do a hpi cheak so went on the app paided for the gold cheak then my phone crashes oh no went back on the app and there was a phone number to ring the staff was very helpfull and ran the cheak over the phone only to reval the van was stolen If it wasent for my car cheak that 7k i was going to hand over to that criminal would of gone to waste and i would of had some question to answer from the police so lesson learnt spending a £10 save me 7k
