There are a few people I know, Veterans that have lost their Dog Tags. I have been fortunate to have been able to hold on to mine, and I know how important it is to have them. None of us knew until recently that we could replicate the originals, came across MyDogTag.com and were ecstatic! What struck me was the ability to focus in on the year of the original tags so they could be as authentic as possible. For instance, my tags were "stamped" meaning they were "debossed", but some of my friends were "embossed". The whole process was easy, the templates are provided, and after seeing the finished product, I have to say there are some VERY happy Vets out here now! But most important, my Son who was a Navy Vet and has passed on lost his, and it has been a comfort to me and a pleasure to be able to have had them made for his girlfriend and a set for me.
