Unfortunately ordered a dress for almost £500 for the evening of my wedding which I didn’t get to wear as the fit was just really uncomfortable despite ordering my usual size. So put the dress with all tags still attached back in the box.
I then became very unwell so was a few days past the very short 14 day returns so I emailed to explain my situation with the hopes of being able to return a few days late but was told I had to keep the dress. “we hope you feel amazing wearing your MERABI.” on the email despite me obviously not being able to wear it.
As I’ve been long term customer at Nadine Merabi and given how understanding & compassionate all other companies have been towards me with returning much lower cost items, I feel that it’s a little harsh. I would have more than happily given a lovely review had I been allowed to send the item back a couple days late (in perfect condition).
Given 2 stars as I understand that every company is entitled to have a returns policy but I just feel many other companies are doing a lot better when it comes to returns. I will now have to sell my dress on vinted at a loss due to becoming unwell which is disheartening I guess. It’s not as though the dress is no longer being sold at Nadine Merabi.
