I recently visited the Mississauga branch of National Mattress to buy a mattress and had a generally positive experience, though there were a few hiccups.
Store Experience: Upon entering the store, I initially felt ignored. The staff was busy with other customers who had arrived before us and then seemed to focus on customers who arrived after us, which made the start of our visit feel frustrating. However, after some time, the staff caught up and were able to answer our questions and guide us through the available options. The store layout was a bit awkward, resembling more of a warehouse than a retail store. It took a little time to get accustomed to it, but eventually, I figured out that each aisle was dedicated to a specific brand, organized by price from highest to lowest. There was a wide variety of options on display, which was a huge plus.
Customer Service: Despite the rocky start, the customer service was excellent. The staff were knowledgeable, helpful, and not at all pushy. It was refreshing that they didn’t try to upsell us on the most expensive mattresses, but instead listened to our needs and guided us accordingly. Initially, we came in just to do some research, but the helpful guidance and the good experience led us to make a purchase on the spot. Their professionalism and expertise made the process smooth and enjoyable.
Product and Price: The mattress we purchased met all of our expectations in terms of comfort, quality, and features. Prices seemed competitive, and we felt like we were getting good value for money. There were promotions and discounts available, which made the purchase even more attractive.
Delivery and Set-Up: We have yet to receive the mattress, so I can't comment on the delivery process or set-up at this time.
After-Sales Experience: Since the mattress hasn’t been delivered yet, we haven't had a chance to engage with after-sales support or warranty services
