Oven had failed after 4 years requiring 2 elements and the main control board. Total cost over £300
Contacted NEF customer service (naff more like) to offer to return the old part for failure analysis and whether they would be willing to contribute towards the cost of repairs. Came back with the stock answer “ sorry out of warranty”
Obviously never heard of good will gestures and not even an acknowledgement that I would return the old parts for them to look at. After only 4 years of use this is totally unacceptable
Clearly they have no regard for customer satisfaction where this will now result in abandoning the brand for another make (for life)
My recommendation to others seeking a NEF/ Bosch/ Siemens ( same outfit) appliance is to go elsewhere where customers are a priority
