This is a long review, but worth the read. The staff here are amazing!!! I called this store (I'm in a different state) trying to locate a specific prom dress in a specific size for my daughter. No other store went to the length of effort the woman on the phone did at this store...(boutiques and bridal shops we went to or called simply said they didn't have it in stock in the size we needed and couldn't order it because it was out of stock on the designer's website). The woman at this store offered to call the designer anyway, and unbelievably, they said they had 1 dress left in the size we needed..."1"!!! This woman then asked them to physically locate the dress for me (which took some time). I've had it happen in the past where the inventory was off, and the store sends an email saying, "sorry, we don't have it, after all". She was on the phone multiple times with the designer/their warehouse and me too, keeping me updated. The whole process took almost 3 hours, from the first phone call to the last. I was ultimately able to get the dress my daughter wanted for prom, all because the employee at this store went the extra mile for a customer on the phone! THAT is customer service!!! And then, there was even an unexpected perk to purchasing the dress at this store...she mentioned that if we wanted to return it (which we didn't), that we could receive store credit - really(?) - wow! Every other prom dress shop or bridal store that we went to or called had an "all sales final" policy. I wish this store had one in my state, or somewhere close enough for me to shop at - they've got the "customer service" thing right! Thank you NEWYORKDRESS!
