I have a direct debit set up for £150 per month and this month my usage was £170 but despite having £450 in credit Octopus Energy automatically (!) tried to increase my direct debit to £225 per month !
Outrageous !
Told them to reduce my DD to £100 until i get to within 1 months credit instead of almost 3 !
