Having been with UW for many years, and many issues, I've finally been able to move over to Octopus. The customer service guy, Greg Jackson, made me genuinely smile (he brightened up my afternoon immensely!), and made me feel fully informed of my options, tariffs, etc etc. I have to say based on this first contact with Octopus energy, I feel absolutely confident that the swap will be a smooth one, and that I will be treated as a human, not just someone to be wooed into bed then left with not an ounce of contact, like UW did/do. I am confident that Octopus will be in regular contact with me, and that I'll have full and easy access to the goings on in my own little pod of energy consumption.
