You can only spend on items of the same or lower cost than the card. You cannot add funds. You can not use towards something and put the rest on a separate card. This means. If you want to purchase an item which is £120 and you have a £100 gift card. The card is useless. There is NO way to use the card towards that item. If you spend the card on lower price items. You then have a card with a lower balance. This continues until you have low balances and nothing in the shop is that price so you basically have to throw money away.
