It’s now 13:36 on a Friday afternoon. I first reported my breakdown to One Call at 9:15 this morning. Received an estimated time of arrival (ETA) of 12:47 which I was unhappy about but sat in my car and waited. At 13:05 I rang One Call again to check why they still hadn’t arrived. Was given a new ETA of 14:30!! I was advised that someone should have been in touch to tell me about the new ETA but they hadn’t. They also advised that they would need to cancel that booking if I wanted them to check if another agent was available at an earlier time and they couldn’t guarantee that the new agent would get here any earlier. After making a complaint I received a call back to say someone would arrive by 14:00. The new agent has since called to assure me they are on their way. Hopefully I’ll get to the garage before it closes for the weekend 🤦♀️
