When this guy turned up (username LP5) late he sat in my vehicle told me there was no fuel in it. I told him there was lots of fuel in the vehicle. He told me there wasn’t and from that moment on he took me for an idiot. I am a 41 year old man with a family and my own business and this vehicle is my work vehicle. After spending an hour turning my engine over killing my battery and starter motor he suggested taking me to the garage to get more fuel. I locked my van and said let’s go and he said no rush I am having a cigarette!! I am self employed and need to get back to work!. Once we got to the garage I had to buy my own fuel can and I had to wait outside while he brought a Costa Coffee and a chocolate twist! We then get back to my vehicle where we put the fuel in and he continues to just turn my engine over I could have done this myself. He then rings his friend for advice and spends 15 mins on the phone! After 3 hours of turning my engine over I told him he will blow my starter motor up! He told me that won’t happen and continued to turn my engine over. In the end he said he was clocking off from work and I had to ask him if he could at least tow me to the nearest garage. He towed me to the garage and left, the garage plugged my van into their computer and in 30 seconds told me that my crank sensor had gone! There was half a tank of fuel in my vehicle like I told this guy when he turned up. So this guy turned up failed to plug my van in wrongly diagnosed my vehicle and took me for an idiot. He also blew up my starter motor which cost me £125 and he flattened my battery. The garage also told me he could of done more damage as he was constantly turning my engine over for 3 hours solid. He owes me £125 for a new starter motor and a days money I lost at work as he could if towed me to the garage earlier and I could of got another vehicle to go to work. Even though I have paid for breakdown cover with my insurance company I do not trust them if the will send me guys like that and I have had to join the AA to have professional breakdown cover not someone buying costas and breaking my vehicle.
