One Day Only should stick to selling small items since the deliveries of these items are 100% in order.
However, in 2020 I made a R9000 purchase for a dining room cupboard and dining bench and since the delivery guys bluntly refused to carry the items into the house, I immediately reported it to customer service. At that time I was told that the delivery company was outsourced and to compensate for the inconvenience I received a R150 gift voucher.
Recently I made another R7800 purchase and again I experienced bad services. This time the customer services at One Day Only were pathetic. I've send several emails and got flimsy responses. The goods were delivered in drips and drags, on several days without prior notification. The 3rd item (4 piece patio set) remained undelivered and I was told the goods were delivered and signed for, yet the consultant conveniently omitted to provide me with the proof.
This will be my last transaction with them as they clearly proved to me that they do not value me as a customer, they are unable to manage their stakeholders and they are incapable of managing big item purchases.
Be aware before you purchase!
