I just closed on selling my house. The experience I had with Opendoor was EXCELLENT. The whole team was very responsive, from Tye who took me through the process and was responsive with answering questions to Ashley at title who was also very responsive to questions or concerns and both handling it in a timely manner. There is a nice team approach and even though it’s virtual, like most things these days, Opendoor lays out a process with steps that you follow to reach the goal. I would like to see that path visually laid out on their site when working with the title company. It would help to have those steps mapped out because then it shows where you are in the process and if there’s anything else you need to take care of. In terms of selling a house this way, it was the best—no one walking through your house for all those open houses, no sign in front of your house, no showings you have to prepare for, no money spent on staging the house. It felt like a win-win on both sides. I would do it all over again.
