I was referred to opendoor from another friend who had a great experience. I submitted a request for an offer and took my time to decide of this was right for me. When I made the choice, the whole process was laid out and explained by the opendoor associate who helped me. Everything was explained, documented and there was always someone to assist with questions. I picked my own timelines, there wasn't any pressure, it was less stress than trying to deal with showing the house myself.
