Overall it was a great experience with OpenDoor. It was nice to be able to purchase a NEW home with the funds from the home I sold to them without having to move out until the new home was ready. It did get a little bumpy towards close as it seemed as if OpenDoor, the builder, mortgage company and the title company weren't all communicating directly with each other and I ended up having to communicate the information between all of them. I'm not sure if I misunderstood the process but I thought OpenDoor took care of it all. Luckily after a few days of doing it myself and updating the parties, it seemed as if they all had started to communicate with each other eventually. While that was a bit stressful and frustrating, Marvin L with OpenDoor made sure to keep updated our current house and moving dates so that we did not have to move out before the new house was finally signed over. As with anything, there will always be a bump on the road but overall highly recommend.
