Open door made an offer on our home with a $15k deduction for a new roof and interior and exterior paint touch up...without ever looking at the home...our home had a new roof installed in 2020 and there was no touch up needed. They supposedly sent out an "inspector" that we never saw and that didn't notice that our roof was new? Our contact at open door wanted us to send him proof that our roof was new...that's not our job. We ended up selling our home (with a real estate agent) for $63,000 higher than Open doors offer...for less fees than open doors "5% service fee". Your service may work with people that have "less than" homes and that may need to sell fast to get money...we're not them.
