Deceptive. Went with OpenDoor as my house is not in the best shape and I work overnight shifts so it is difficult to show it. They made me a preliminary offer, which was I wasn't happy with. They sent an "inspector" who walked about the outside of my house taking photos for all of 15 minutes. (They wanted me to leave my gate open and give the "inspetor" access when I wasn't home...ummm, no). I was told I'd have my offer within 48 hours, then radio silence for weeks. I finally pushed the issue in order to get my final offer. I was budgeting for $20k in repairs. The agent told me the repairs were $19,200, which I was happy with. Then they declined because they said the repairs would take too long. Bunch of excuses. Personally think it was because of the slow down in the market. Either way, deceptive practices.
