My husband and I kept getting these flyers in the mail from Opendoor..."We will buy your house, no repairs needed." I never even thought to sell my house until the housing market went thru the roof. So I decided to go online at Opendoor and see how much they would offer for my home. Immediately offered me an estimated 270k without any photos or anything. Once I agreed that I was interested, they set me up to do an virtual walk thru. Took 10 mins. The next day a person came out and took pictures outside and I had a solid cash offer of 250k. Once I accepted they allowed me to choose the day I wanted to close and they advised me that since I sold to them, if I also bought from them, I would receive a 2k ( I think it was 2k....2 or 5k) off the closing cost of my new home. They provided an app that has listings of homes. We were able to schedule viewings thru the app as well as make an offer on the homes we liked. They pair you with a real estate agent who helps you thru the entire process. And let me just say, our agent Stephanie, was AMZING. The house we got had 16 offers on it but she got it for us!!! Opendoor allowed us to close on my current house and go ahead and move into the new house while we got financing. They allowed us to stay in the new house rent/utility bills free for 120 days to allow us to find the best financing options. We even had a few hiccups in the road and actually went outside of our 120 days and Opendoor worked with us to make sure we got the home of our dreams!!! I have recommended Opendoor to all my friends who are thinking of selling and buying!!!! These guys are AMAZING!!!!
