Selling my home through Opendoor was one of the easiest processes that I have ever been through. My initial contact was with a Sales Agent named Lori Nelson. She made the virtual walk-through process very relaxing and informative. I was told what to expect at different intervals throughout the entire sales process and was allowed to ask as many questions as I wanted to during the virtual tour. I was provided with the Sales Agent personal mobile phone number to text or call at anytime, if any questions or concerns arised after the virtual tour. I scheduled my external inspection of the house to take place two days later, and the Home Inspector arrived on time as expected. He did not have to come inside my home as promised. I was later provided an offer for my home by Opendoor that was very comparable to the fair market value for my particular neighborhood and size of my house with comparable amenities to others in n my neighborhood. Opendoor never reduced the quoted offer and that was one thing that I was very skeptical of in the beginning, because I had never sold a home outside of using a traditional realtor in a private sale. I was also informed about options on how to move out after closing with actually using money from the sale of the home for moving expenses, if needed. After accepting my offer, a Sales Manager by the name of Ashley Jennings guided me professionally & efficiently through the rest of the process until I reached my closing date & officially closed. The attorney’s office that I closed on the property with was extremely professional and did an outstanding job of having everything ready for me to sign upon arrival. They emailed an attached copy of everything that I signed with Opendoor's official signatures attached as well. The funds from the sale of the home were electronically transferred into my checking account in less than 2 hours after the sale. I would definitely sale another home through Opendoor, if the opportunity presents itself. I have actually been thinking about learning how to become one of their Sales Agent/Sales Manager, because I love the concept of the business and the fact that they have plenty of options for families who maybe facing financial hardship or simply need to sale their house fast, but can't wait on the traditional real estate company to find a buyer, show the home, & wait on offers. I referred a close friend to them early on in the process and I plan to refer plenty more friends and family. You literally can have your home completely sold with Opendoor door in about 2-4 weeks, if you are already packed up and ready to go or able to do so promptly. Their entire team was seriously that awesome. Good luck with your future home sell or buy!
