Opendoor was professional throughout the entire process. The initial offer had compared our house to houses in a nearby subdivision, which resulted in a lower offer. After a short discussion with Opendoor, they provided an updated offer that was competitive. The home inspection was thorough; but, not absurdly so. Some minor faults were identified; however, Opendoor did not reduce the offer price. The interactions with Opendoor personnel were painless. In the end, it was a painless business interaction. Considering the offer we received and fee that we paid, we probably received a little less than if we had sold our home through a conventional real estate company. However, it was worth the convenience. We did not have to deal with open houses, people coming through our home, and most importantly for us, did not have to worry if our home being built would be delivered on time. Open door was flexible on our settlement date. I definitely recommend Opendoor to anyone looking to sell.
