I booked a flight with FlyOne through Opodo (reference 18133072946) for a journey from Stansted to Tbilisi, with a layover in Chişinău, in August last year. Due to a delay on the first leg of my flight, I missed my connecting flight. When I arrived in Chişinău, FlyOne informed me that there were no other flights available for another 2.5 days. As a result, I had no choice but to purchase a last-minute ticket for €180 to continue my journey.
For the past six months, I’ve been tirelessly contacting both FlyOne and Flightright (a flight delay compensation company), but to no avail. Desperate for a resolution, I reached out to Opodo on 10th March 2025, hoping they would assist in dealing with FlyOne. Unfortunately, their response was not just disappointing—it was appalling.
They claimed to have "forwarded my refund request to FlyOne but hadn’t heard back" and told me I should now deal with the airline directly. This came after I had already informed them that I’d contacted FlyOne multiple times since August 2024, without success.
Opodo has completely washed their hands of the situation, refusing to take any responsibility or offer any compensation for the additional costs and extreme inconvenience I’ve faced.
The lack of customer service and accountability from both Opodo and FlyOne is frankly shocking. I am thoroughly frustrated and deeply disappointed by their unwillingness to help resolve this issue.
I strongly advise anyone considering booking through Opodo to think twice. If anything goes wrong with your flight, you’ll be left to fend for yourself—Opodo certainly won’t lift a finger to assist.
