I have booked with Opodo many times over the years, but I will absolutely never use them and Dreams again. I just found a pending charge of 119.90 on my credit card for an annual "Opodo Prime" membership that I never signed up for. My bank confided that they intentionally obscure the subscription terms during the flight checkout process to trick you into a recurring fee. And they see it happening very often! ​To make matters worse, once they trap you, their website conveniently prevents you from removing your credit card details or canceling the membership. You cannot just click a button to opt-out; and I had to call them to cancel my membership. Some very rude staff responded and gracefully explained how I've benefited from their services while a Prime member. They also confirmed that this is the second year that I have been charged without me knowing about it, plus they reminded me that their sister or affiliate company eDreams has done the same in 2022 with me! The staff even claimed there is a pattern with me.. Unbelievable. While my bank confirmed that this is very common practice and that many complain to them of the same! And I have still not been able to remove my credit card details from their online systems. ​I am currently disputing this with my bank as fraudulent billing. This company relies on deceptive "dark patterns" to steal from its own customers. I've contacted them but they seem to be very proud so far of their business model. Avoid them completely and book directly with the airlines. Never again!

I would never recommend Opodo and I will never use them again. They lied about the prices. I was told by them that I would pay 50 Euros at the rental car pickup and yet Thrifty would not release the car unless I paid 200 Euros minimum. As I had somewhere to be, I could not cancel. Never again. This company lacks transparency. They need to be on the same page as the rental car company and not lie about the total charges in order to secure business. When I requested help from Opodo, they said the additional charges were mentioned in the tiny fine print. However, I was not informed about the additional charges. They left it to the rental car company to force me to pay the additional fees at the rental desk, when it was too late to cancel. Opodo did nothing to rectify the situation or even acknowledge their deceit. DON'T USE THEM. They lie!

I had a very disappointing experience with Opodo Prime. A £99.99 annual renewal was taken automatically from my account without any clear reminder email or advance notification before the charge. I was not properly informed that the subscription was about to renew, and customer support was not helpful when I tried to resolve the issue. I submitted a formal data/privacy request asking for evidence of renewal notifications and account records. The company provided partial responses but avoided sharing important internal logs or proof that any renewal reminder was actually sent. The whole process felt unnecessarily difficult and lacking transparency. I recommend that customers carefully monitor their subscriptions and payment methods when using Opodo Prime.

Opodo stole 99.99 Euros from my account. They insisted I signed up for their Prime service, which I certainly did not. They refused to refund me and refused to allow me to speak to a member of staff with any authority to do anything about it.

I wish I have option not to give any star.Worst customer service. Due to current war in gulf, we have had our flights cancelled when we approached Opodo to cancel our accommodation they were adamant to do cancel it as we choose non-refundable option "despite the hotel requested that if the party booked on our behalf requests refund they will be happy to make a decision but Opodo never approached" and worst part is the time they take to even respond to a online request almost 3 weeks at times

STAY AWAY!!!! I booked 2 tickets from Opodo in 2022. The VISA credit card that was charged then was discontinued as product by my bank in 2024, and I currently use a Mastercard which they somehow accessed and charged again without any authorisation by me whatsoever.

I booked a ticket for €118 with Opodo. After a few weeks, I discovered a hidden charge of €99.99 for a ‘Prime’ subscription, which I never agreed to. There was no clear option or consent at booking. I contacted their support for 20 minutes, and they only offered a partial refund. This feels like a hidden scam. Please beware when using Opodo to avoid such surprise charges!

I got tricked into a Prime Membership and deducted the amount of my account without any authorisation. Be careful when you want to book flights there. Trying to reach the hotline is impossible, I waited twice 40 minutes and gave up. The chat function doesnt also lead to human help so to get the money refunded or any kind of contact is already impossible. HOrrible page!!!!

I cannot believe this company has a 4.3 rating. This is one of the worst travel agent i have encountered. They mislead the baggage allowance message by not mentioning the exact Kilos offered in the deal which means for muscat i had only 20kgs versus competition offering 30kgs. Went with their offer as the cheapest and then was asked to pay 10kilos with oman air for 700 aed more! (ticket was 1050 AED ith 20kgs). I asked them why they mentioned only 1 checked in luggage implying it was 30kgs. They said i should have knows based on Oman Air policy. I showed them competition offering deals for 10 20 or 30 kilos and cheaper than them. I told them if they dont offer deals then why do they exist instead of us purchasing direct from the airline? Helpdesk was blind, death and told me i was wrong! I asked them to pay for 10kg they refused. asked to cancel the flight they refused. Nothing was done. I had to find out myself thanks to prime i could change the flight for another date so i did for xmas. Then i get this constant ads within the account preventing me to see in a click the details of my flights simply as they show me 4 windows of ads to sell me their products. It is cluttered and a money machine. Looking at Prime promising cancellation for free, my flight will not be refunded even as prime so what is the point of prime? Never again will i use such a company not even here to help and misleading clients versus competitors like Trip.com, expedia.com or Make my trip.com and flightnetwork who are clean in what the deal is about and what you are paying for and have a clean platform and app. NEVER AGAIN OPODO. bery bad company according to me and not competitive. check on skyscanner and you will see other companies are much more competitive.

Opodo, I accidentally clicked on your discount and I almost immediately called you and wrote you to cancell it but you didn't. I feel so scammed now, you booked 99.90Euros from my card. It's not okay. I dont like this 😞👎👎
