After countless tiring phone calls I've given up on this company. The airline issues the refund and Opodo have tried all the dirty tricks imaginable to keep the refund themself. The customer service is (and I know this is a bold statement to make) the worst I have ever experienced. They simply don't care.
I was lied to multiple times regarding call backs and receiving emails within 10 days. Their tactic is to avoid customer issues and hope that the issue goes away or the customer forgets about it.
Good luck trying to speak to the call centre agents. I tried multiple times and was unable to get an intellectual response at all. Perhaps I was actually speaking to a robot on the sub-continent. Of course the call centre is not in the UK, the UK number is routed elsewhere.
Impossible to get a refund. When you give these guys money, be aware that the money is gone. Regardless of the level of service received, or if any service at all is received, you will certainly not see your money again.
