I had the misfortune to contact the Opodo Call Centre to modify my flight arrangements recently.
The person who answered my call did not satisfy my expectation of politeness and I found it difficult to hear him above the overheard shouting and noise in the background from other members of staff. Clearly Management supervision is either lackadaisical or lacking altogether. Whatever the reason, it gave an amateurish impression which Opodo needs to address if it wishes to retain Customer loyalty.
I was placed on lengthy hold on two occasions and my enquiry was a basic matter. Heaven help anyone who has a difficult enquiry.
Opodo needs to up it’s game significantly by ensuring staff receive adequate training in systems operation and Customer interaction.
