Found out my flight has been cancelled on 30 March from Bangkok to London. Had an email from EvaAir telling me my flight is now 24 hours later. This is fine if you live in London but to where I live, is another full day travel. I booked the train, Heathrow express and hotel for the night. If I go on 31 March I will miss all this, as it is all non change or refund.
Tried call Opodo many times from my phone as instructed to do. On hold every time and after 45 minutes was cut off. Not cheap on international rates. 😠😠ðŸ˜
Tried the online chat and that was a waste of time as I had to keep repeating myself and promised a call back that never happened.
All I want to do is get a refund as neither the airline or Opodo have kept their side of the deal. They cancelled the flight not me!!
Also I must be in work on 1 April too.
Very luckily I booked with a credit card and requested a charge back or section 75 claim as I have not received the goods I paid for.
Never book with this company again, I'd much rather pay a bit extra and book direct with the airline. I made a big mistake, but make sure you book with a credit card and you will get at least some protection if you book with this company in a case like this.
Now I will let the credit card sort this scam out as they have taken my money by false pretences. If no joy then the financial ombudsman.
