My family and I were supposed to be going on holiday on the 25th March. I had checked the airline status and seen that all the flights were cancelled. Opodo emailed me on the 23rd March and asked me to contact them urgently on a provided number. It is now the 1st of April and I have still not managed to contact them...the one time I was put in a queue I was on hold up to 3.5 hours before being cut off.
In light of no contact with Opodo on the 24th, the day before the flights were scheduled I contacted the airline directly who organised a full refund there and then which took less than 10 minutes. The only problem is the refund went straight to Opodo not me as they are the booking agent. Needless to say from the other reviews here I haven't had the refund from them and still cant contact a person.
Next step is to call my credit card co and if that is no help then small claims it is.
