Customer service is woeful when there’s a fault on their behalf. They are only interested in sales. My electricity has been accidentally disconnected twice in 12 months. Whenever you call or email you get a new customer representative in another country who has no clue what is going on. It’s been dragging on for 6 months and you never speak with anyone who can actually resolve the issues. There’s no escalation process or system to their customer service. The only way to progress is through the ombudsman which shouldn’t be required to solve simple errors on a large companies behalf. The amount of time lost over 6months is ridiculous. I’ve dealt with other big companies in the past and Origin Energy are by far the WORST. Avoid at all costs
