Was advised by Origin that our meter needed to be changed to a Smart Meter as it was "faulty" I objected, but was told it was going ahead. I then requested that all communications be switched off. So from then on all of my bills have been estimated as they're too lazy to send out a meter reader. I was constantly emailing them, they'd do adjustments/refunds and it got so confusing I couldn't make head nor tails of the bills. I decided to switch providers and a final read was supposed to be done by Origin but when I received my final bill it was ESTIMATED again. It's always OVER estimated. I've asked them to please give a reason for not performing an actual read on a final bill and depending on their response, I may be making a call to the Energy and Water Ombudsman. Glad to be giving them the flick, who knows how much I've been tipped off over the years? The bill got emailed to me this morning and so far I have had 6 missed calls from them probably trying to get my business back.......not happening. Would not recommend doing business with them.
