Gave to to my daughter at college as her roommates don't believe in turning up the heat in their apartment. She was using a heated blanket but it was a pain to carry up to her room at bedtime and back downstairs to use during the day. She absolutely LOVES this jacket and wears it all the time. Now she's toasty warm and can move freely from apartment to classes staying warm. And leaving the blanket on her bed means she's not climbing into a cold bed every night. I had gotten one of the quilted orono jackets for my mom as she's always cold and she wears it constantly. This fleece one for my daughter is a little thinner material, which works better for her. Very happy with both purchases!
