I put an order through the eBay store on 18/05/2023. (22-10067-10906)
On 25/05/2023, I received an email saying that my order was on its way, however when I looked at the tracking information, there was no indication that the parcel had been dispatched yet.
I called your store on that day to see if you could check whether the item had actually left the warehouse yet as I was able to drop into the store that day to pick it up if it hadn't been dispatched yet.
The customer service agent I spoke to advised me that the item had already left the warehouse, and that the item would arrive that afternoon or the next day (Friday 26/05/2023).
I then received an email on Friday 26/05/2023 at 4:40pm saying that the parcel had just been picked up.
It seems as the customer service agent I spoke to didn't actually check the order, they lied and told me that the order had already been dispatched even though it hadn't even been picked up yet.
I would've appreciated it if the customer service agent had properly checked the order or advised me that the order is no longer able to be picked up from the store as it had been assigned a tracking number.
I know that the customer service agent didn't check my order because they only used my phone number to check my order - but my order wasn't put through the website/over the phone. It was put through eBay, which isn't linked up to my phone number.
Please ask that your customer service agents are more thorough when checking orders or be more transparent when answering customer queries.
It is now Monday, I haven't received my order and the tracking information doesn't show any change since Friday, despite the agent advising me that the order should arrive Friday latest.
