Absolute disgrace. I made the mistake of joining last year then left after I found a cheaper company. They still took £110, then said they would refund it even after I had cancelled my direct debit. They waited until the 8th January to say they couldn't refund it and will send a cheque instead. I phoned the call centre at OVO and one staff member was like "What cheque?" Another said it had been posted on 22nd December, another said it had been sent on that same day I phoned up. I won't hold my breath. Time to get Ombudsman involved I think. I don't care how long that takes, I do not trust OVO at all. Please be careful and avoid at all costs.
