I’ve had nothing but frustration with OVO Energy due to repeated billing errors and poor customer service. Over the past several months, I’ve been consistently overcharged, even when my account was in credit. Each time, I had to contact support to correct the overcharges, which quickly became exhausting.
The latest issue involved an unauthorized transaction that took £135 from my account despite my balance already being in credit. When I contacted customer service, I was told it would take 10 working days to refund the money, which feels unreasonable considering the mistake was on their end.
It’s troubling to see how little they seem to care about their customers’ time and trust. Their billing practices and lack of urgency in fixing errors are deeply disappointing. I’ve since moved to a new provider and would advise others to be cautious before choosing OVO Energy.
