After three exhausting weeks of back-and-forth communication regarding a transmission repair that was clearly covered by my policy, I was ultimately denied the claim on the grounds of "pre-existing damage." This was an inaccurate and unfair assessment, as my mechanic explicitly stated that there was no pre-existing issue. Throughout the process, the claims adjuster handling my case was dismissive and unwilling to listen to my mechanic's professional evaluation. During one phone conversation, she was particularly rude and refused to engage in any meaningful discussion about my claim. After such a frustrating experience, I made the decision to cancel my policy with Ox Car Care. I will never trust this company again, and I strongly advise others to be cautious before purchasing coverage.
