They may be cheap but when it does, putting it right is not going to be easy. My first and ONLY time I used parcelcompare resulted in my item was received by the purchaser in a totally unusable condition.
"Yes we will look into it" they said, provide pictures of the item and the packaging and we will consider a claim. How are you going to explain the condition of the parcel after it has been cut open to remove the item, only to find it no better than scrap.
TO BE FAIR.....customer services were on the ball in replying to my numerous emails. One of them tried the empathy vote saying
" I would feel exactly the same if I was in your position"
Flip side is, as a gesture I had the cost of postage refunded, which to me is a owning of the problem and admitting I had a claim.
YEAH RIGHT
Best advice.......stay well clear of this service...wish I had
