The parcel was duly collected and was meant to be delivered the following day. It wasn't delivered and I was not notified. It arrived the day after but all was well according to the customer. I wasn't given any credit for the delay in delivery, but then I didn't ask for it.
Just over 7 weeks later I was notified by email that they were charging a Large Parcel Surcharge using my card that had been used previously. The surcharge amount was £49.12 and they immediately claimed on my bank account the same day using the card details with security number that I had previously paid with. The original price I had paid was £39.49 and I had applied and paid for online using the formula with measurements and weight etc.
They say on their paperwork that all disputes must be made in writing by post and expect 14 days for reply!
I spoke to my bank today, having never before disputed a payment and they said it was a bit naughty to take the money as they have done and were raising a dispute on my behalf.
I checked what the charge would be today, from UPS who were the carriers they used, and the quotation for next day delivery would be £21.52!!!
Wish I had used them originally :-(
