Never use one of these services for parcels. Parcel can be lost by the drop off point, the drop off company, the courier or ParcelCompare and trying to get compensation means a daily email trail over two weeks which is still going on. In our case ParcelCompare lost our parcel. All we are claiming for is the cost of postage £7.61 and the cost of the items in the parcel of £15.69 - the most expensive single item costing £5.70. We completed the ParcelCompare claim form which makes no mention of receipts and sent it in. This is not enough of course. Endless emails later and they are now demanding RECEIPTS including for items like 2 packets of sweets costing £5! No doubt next they will need a DNA sample to prove who we are because we have been so cheeky as to ask for £22.82 to cover the cost of the postage and items in the parcel THEY LOST - it is not even as though we are asking for the maximum £50!!! The worst thing is that the parcel was for a child about to undergo cancer treatment to cheer them up during a hospital stay. ParcelCompare are beyond contempt.
