Stay away, such a scam.. We used this service to send our clothes from the UK to Italy. The parcel got stuck in customs because the company failed to provide the necessary documents. We were charged a high customs fee, despite being exempt from the tax as long-term UK residents and EU citizens. The parcel company should have asked us to fill out a form prior to shipment, as all the other providers did (we sent several other boxes without any issues). We couldn’t resolve the issue with DPD, as ParcelCompare was listed as the customer. We had to request that ParcelCompare return the parcel. Their customer service was completely unhelpful; the representative knew nothing about the process and failed to warn us about the extra charges for returning the parcel. In the end, they withdrew money from our bank account without our consent. I am currently working with my bank to recover the money they wrongfully took. This company should be held accountable by the FCA. They should not be allowed to operate, as their practices violate consumer rights.
