I paid for insurance for £100 and took my parcel containing an airfryer to a drop off shop where it was picked up and transported by FedEx. It was carefully packed, including polystyrene in hard cardboard to keep the item protected in the box. When the item arrived, the box was dented on one side, and both airfryer drawer handles were smashed. The parcel had clearly been dropped hard onto a hard surface. I sent photos of the parcel and the damage but ParcelCompare said they would not accept a claim as I had no photos of the internal packaging. Avoid this company.
